METROPWR UB1 is a system for remote control of the RCU-06 controller via the Internet. A Raspberry PI is used to connect the controller to the LAN via USB. The software developed by METROPWR allows all functions of the controller to be managed remotely. The software integrates seamlessly with the suite for remoting the entire radio station via the internet. It runs cross-platform on WIN11 and MACOSX.
The user interface is designed to occupy little screen space and has a menu for configuring network parameters and themes. Shown below is an example of how the network is organised and the connection diagram:
A link is provided where you can download the software for the various platforms. The raspberry PI (is not included) , but information is provided on how to create an ISO of the software and how to configure it. Installation is very simple and after configuration the RCU-06 controller will be remotable over the Internet.
