Metropwr FX2 is a circuit with which the Yaesu G100,G2800 controller can be interfaced. It interfaces via the mini dinn port to the controller and allows the antenna rotor to be remoteised via LAN port. This allows the antenna to be rotated via the Internet from anywhere in the world. The interface is powered through a USBC connector and can also be connected directly to the computer. The supplied software is compatible with WIN11 and MACOSX.
Those using pstrotator can interface it either via USBC or LAN, and use it to drive the YAesu controller remotely via the Internet. Below is an example of the interface as it is integrated into the network:
The interface consists of a pcba that can also be mounted inside the controller or externally. It has a low power consumption and can be powered via a powerbank or USBC wall power supply. Only the PCBA is supplied, with the option of purchasing the mini-DINN cable as well. It is possible to connect up to 4 clients even on different platforms such as WIN11 or MAC to control the yaesu controller. They will all be updated in real time with the azimuth position of the antenna.
The accompanying software has many functions including azimuth memory entry, theme change and interface for entering network parameters.
